Geotechnical Engineering is a field of expertise within YNY CONSULTING ENGINEER with a dedicated team of engineers. We specialize in many aspects of this field in particular slope stability, remedial works and soft ground treatments. Our skills enable us to combines our knowledge and geotechnical software to come up with appropriate solutions to our clients.

 

We are knowledgeable in reinforced earth (RE) walls, crib walls, key stone walls, gunite or shortcrete walls, soil nailing, rock bolting, preloading, stone columns, contiguous bore pile (CBP), pile embankments, strutting system. Working together with structural team, we regularly review and complete value engineering on many projects. Our design experience enables us to consult on retaining walls greater than 6m high. Also, as mentioned, we regularly look at and advise alternative solutions for soft ground treatment and our solutions are more than one dimensional.
