LEONG MUN YEW-Director

Ir Leong Mun Yew was graduated from University of Malaya in 1999 with a Degree in Bachelor of Civil Engineering. He was elected as corporate member of The Institution of Engineers Malaysia (MIEM) and registered as Professional Engineer to Lembaga Jurutera Malaysia (Board of Engineer Malaysia, BEM) in 2007. He has more than 13 years of experience in the civil and structural engineering consultancy majoring in RC and steel structure for various types of project such as residential housing, commercial, industrial, civil works including earthwork, road & drainage, sewerage reticulation and water supply system. He has the experience of optimizing a project proposal based on the various structural system such as precast, shear wall and composite.

 

After graduated in 1999, he was employed as a Graduate C&S Engineer for Perunding Talico Sdn. Bhd.(PT) where he was mainly involved in township development project such as Taman Putri Kulai,  Bandar Putri Jaya and etc.

 

After PT, he joined Perunding Rekamaju (PRM) in 2000 as a C&S Engineer mainly involved in design and built project such as Bandar Utama Shopping Complex New Wing Extension, government school project adopting IBS system. During his employment in PRM, he also had opportunity to involve CSA work for factory and warehouse such as Nutech, Elentec, Atlas Copco, Nestle and etc.     

 

In year 2003, Ir Leong Mun Yew joined a Design and Build Roof And Composite Floor Specialist company named European Profiles Contracting Sdn. Bhd. (EPC) as Project Engineer where he had expanded his responsibility in planning, project management and site construction work. The projects that he involved are mainly fast track construction such as KL Convention Centre, Tanjung Bin Power Generation Plant, CIQ and etc.

After EPC, he rejoined Perunding Rekamaju (PRM) in 2006 as a Resident Engineer in a foreign factory complex development in PKFZ. After completion of construction, he continue his employment in PRM as Senior Engineer where he was given opportunity to involve in high rise building design and construction such as Medan Putra Block B, Superior Villa and etc. Besides, he also conduct Building Integrity And Technical Audit for several building such as FSBM Plaza, Axis Tech Center, PDI Building, Tesco In Bulit Indah, JB., Nippon Express Logistic Hub, APEX Building, DHL Building In Bayan Lepas, Penang and Wisma Tani In Putra Jaya. Currently, he continue to work together with PRM as associate for project such as AIROD H77 aeroplane hangar in Subang Airport, KLIA 2 in Sepang, Bungalow development, design and built of steel structure and etc.   

 

His ambitious drove him to form YNY Consulting Engineer in year 2008 as partner to Ir Ng Wen Yeh. The company grew and managed to complete several projects in Klang Valley area.
